    Unfortunately the place doesn't know what it wants to be, perhaps the management has no experience, I don't know. Stick to Salamanca.

    Earlier this year I return as a part of a small group but this time I was shocked by how little respect the current staff pay to anything. Don't drink the coffee, the prices are very high for what is on offer.

    Early 2008, the cutesy over friendly service from the head waitress was sickening and too familiar for an establishment of this variety in Battery Point. Conversation is good, but please back off!

    I'd eaten at 1815 in late 2007 and the place was obvious being run by some apprentice staff for the day, a little slow for the lunch rush perhaps, but still ok and the coffee was good. It was enough for me to return.
