  The food and baked goods are the real reason you’ll be returning back to this lovely, tucked-away cafe, over and over again. Every dish is unique and very affordable, the coffee is nice, and the range of baked goods is something you’ll otherwise only find in a European Patisserie. I’d highly recommended to check out this spot for lunch or breakfast while you are in Hobart.

  Loved yet. The food and ambience is great. Staff went out of their way to cater for baby. Good location and very handy to city and parks etc.

  Superb artisan bakery with some of the best breads and baked treats in Hobart. We've had platters of food including prepared, filled rolls from here delivered to our film sets, and they have always been demolished with enthusiasm! Charming shopfront too.

  Been here too many times for my own good. Outstanding pies and sausage rolls. Desserts and pastries exceptional. Quaint atmosphere and location. Always recommend to everyone and anyone I meet who visits Hobart...and I don't even live here.

  Breakfast meals were impressive and atmosphere very enjoyable. Felt like part of the community and looking out from there felt like being part of a little colonial village from another time. The lack of star is the challenge my partner who is gluten, lactose, and soy free had with a few basic questions like is there dairy in the eggs? The response from the wait staff was that dairy was used to poach the eggs, which would be surprising if this was the case. I wish they had a little more easy to make a few scrambled eggs and sides from what they already make, but completely understand not their business model.
